Using Online Help
The SAFETY Act website Help provides users with information about applying for SAFETY Act protections and administering the SAFETY Act website. The Help provides step-by-step information for accomplishing each task. There are several different methods for finding information. To use Help effectively, users need to know the different methods of accessing Help topics and how to navigate them.
To access SAFETY Act Help:
The Help interface consists of three components:
- The navigation panel, which displays on the left, enables users to access the Contents, Index and Search tabs.
- The topic viewing panel, which displays on the right, displays the contents of the selected topic.
- The browser menu and toolbar, which display across the top of the page, provides users with standard browser navigation tools to move back and forward through topics and to print topics. In addition to the browser's standard toolbar buttons that enable you to move backward and forward through topics, topics can also contain hyperlinks, which enable you to access an associated topic for more information.
The Help provides users with three methods in the navigation frame for finding information using the Contents, Index, and Search tabs.
