Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

SMC Security Program for Empower Field at Mile High

Stadium Management Company, LLC (SMC) and Denver Broncos Team, LLC provide SMC Security Program for Empower Field at Mile High. The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, services and controls systems, and structural, physical, and technological security measures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado.


Integrated Security and Screening

Approved: June 11, 2026 | Expires: July 31, 2031

AirCo Aviation Services, LLC; Unifi Aviation, LLC; Unifi Security, LLC; ERMC Aviation LLC; and Unifi Security Pacific, Inc., provide Integrated Security and Screening. The Technology is a security and screening program that consists of procedures to conduct screening of client employees, contractors, vendors, equipment, and products entering Secure Identification Display Area and Airport Operations Areas at U.S. domestic airports. The Technology includes personnel screening, personal item screening, and catering cart screening. The Technology also includes the recruiting, hiring, vetting, training, and quality control of the personnel who provide the security screening services.


Kroenke Arena Company, LLC Security Program for Ball Arena Campus

Kroenke Arena Company, LLC provides Kroenke Arena Company, LLC Security Program for Ball Arena Campus. The Technology is a comprehensive area security program composed of physical and electronic security measures and procedures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism during game days, non-game days, special events, and functions. The Technology includes persistent security coverage and incorporates systems, security practices, the selection and maintenance of electronic security measures, and the hiring, vetting, training, and management oversight of its employees and contractors.


Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Program

Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC provides the Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Program. The Technology is a comprehensive security program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, security and emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel. The Technology is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism solely at the Stadium. The Stadium hosts the National Football League (NFL) club Atlanta Falcons’ home games and is a venue for the 2026 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup 2026™.

Evolv eXpedite

Evolv Technologies, Inc., d/b/a Evolv Technology, provides Evolv eXpedite. The Technology is an automated bag screening X-ray system to inspect hand-carried bags for potential threats. The Technology uses automated threat detection algorithms to screen bags without operator interpretation. The Technology also includes technical and maintenance support services, manuals, operator training, and warranty services.


AT&T Stadium Security Program

Cowboys Stadium, L.P., Blue Star Operations Services, LLC, and Dallas Cowboys Football Club, Ltd. provides the AT&T Stadium Security Program. The Technology is a comprehensive security program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, security and emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel. The Technology is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism solely at the Stadium. The Stadium hosts the National Football League (NFL) club Dallas Cowboys’ home games and is a venue for the 2026 Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) World Cup 2026™.
