Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.





Company/Technology

Dedrone Holdings, Inc.

Approved: April 16, 2024 | Expires: April 30, 2029

Dedrone Holdings, Inc. provides Dedrone Counter-Uncrewed Aerial System. The Technology is a counter-uncrewed aerial system that uses proprietary hardware and software to detect and track the unauthorized uncrewed aerial systems. The Technology also includes technical manuals, cloud-hosting infrastructure, maintenance, and a hardware warranty.


Databuoy Corporation

Approved: February 27, 2024 | Expires: February 28, 2029

Databuoy Corporation provides Shotpoint (the Technology). The Technology is an indoor and outdoor suite of acoustic sensors intended to detect gunfire and report the event location through integrated third-party security systems. The incident reports are intended to assist emergency responders with decision making in an active shooter scenario.


Universal Protection Service d/b/a Allied Universal

Approved: February 23, 2024 | Expires: February 28, 2029

Universal Protection Service, LP d/b/a Allied Universal Security Services; Universal Protection Service, LLC d/b/a Allied Universal Security Services, Universal Protection Service of Seattle, LLC, AlliedBarton Security Services LLC, AlliedBarton (NC) LLC, and Guardsmark (Puerto Rico), LLC; and AlliedBarton Security Services LP provides the Anti-Terrorism Security Services Program. The Technology is a set of security services which are designed to deter, respond to, detect and mitigate acts of terrorism and the damage they might cause, and includes armed and unarmed security officers and supervisory personnel that receive enhanced anti-terrorism training. The expertise and training of the security officers and supervisors is commensurate with the customer’s level of service a required, and security officer requirements are determined by site-specific post orders. The Technology is specific to the customers who have selected to use the Anti-Terrorism Security Services Program, and it does not include deployments to or inside correctional facilities, or transportation of prisoners or detainees to or from correctional facilities.


S.A.F.E. Management Group, Inc.

Approved: February 22, 2024 | Expires: February 28, 2029

S.A.F.E. Management Group, Inc. and its subsidiary entities provide Security and Event Services (the Technology). The Technology provides physical security and access control, to secure professional and collegiate sporting, entertainment, convention, and special event venues. The Technology is designed to be used in conjunction with, and to supplement, a client's existing security and emergency plans.


Delta Scientific Corporation

Approved: February 13, 2024 | Expires: January 31, 2031

Delta Scientific Corporation provides Vehicle Barriers, a family of crash-rated vehicle security barriers (the Technology). The Technology consists of fixed and transportable wedge barriers, bollards, and beam barriers, active bollards, and fixed crash gates. All SAFETY Act-protected models were crash-tested using ASTM International or Department of State test standards. Public and private sectors use the Technology for active access entry point and passive perimeter security as a deterrent and to prevent vehicles from being used to attack people, buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. The Technology includes a warranty; user manuals for installation, operations, maintenance, and safety; and other associated technical documentation.


Brookfield Office Properties, Inc.

Approved: January 25, 2024 | Expires: January 31, 2029

Brookfield Office Properties Inc. and Brookfield Corporation provides Brookfield Place Security and Emergency Program. The Technology is a set of security technologies, procedures, and personnel which, when used together, are designed to deter, delay, and mitigate activity from potential terrorist threats at Brookfield Place. The Technology also includes services performed directly by the Applicant’s proprietary personnel, and the Applicant’s oversight of security vendors who perform other technology services.


National Football League

Approved: January 22, 2024 | Expires: January 31, 2029

National Football League (NFL) provides NFL Best Practices Program. The Technology is grounded in the NFL Best Practices for Stadium Security, or the NFL Best Practices. The NFL Best Practices is a comprehensive set of guidelines for stadium security management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at sports stadiums. The NFL delivers and implements its NFL Best Practices through its Stadium Security Evaluation and Compliance Program and through its Stadium Security Training Program, which are designed to promote compliance with the NFL Best Practices at each stadium in which NFL games are played. The Technology does not include each NFL club’s or stadium owner’s or operator’s implementation of the Technology.


Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc.

Approved: December 26, 2023 | Expires: December 31, 2028

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc. provides Impasse & Impasse II High Security Palisade Fence System. The Technology is high security fencing intended to deter, delay, or prevent intruders from gaining access to an asset or launching attacks from the area immediately outside a facility’s perimeter. The Technology also includes related accessories, installation recommendations, a warranty, and maintenance guidelines.


Contemporary Services Corporation

Approved: December 21, 2023 | Expires: December 31, 2028

Contemporary Services Corporation and Event Services America, Inc., provides Event Security Services. The Technology is an event security service that consists of a comprehensive security program composed of policies, procedures, physical and electronic security equipment, and trained personnel that provide protection, deterrence, and response to acts of terrorism against places of public assembly, including arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, racetracks, and outdoor events.


New Meadowlands Stadium Company LLC

Approved: December 21, 2023 | Expires: December 31, 2028

New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC, provides the MetLife Stadium Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, policies and procedures, and personnel, designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism for use exclusively at Met Life Stadium, inclusive of the Stadium and parking lots, during National Football League (“NFL”) Game Days, Non-Game Days, and Special Events.
