Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Honeywell International Inc., doing business as Vindicator Technologies

Approved: August 07, 2013 | Expires: August 31, 2018

Honeywell International, Inc., doing business as Vindicator Technologies, provides V5 Intrusion Detection and Access Control Systems. The Technology is a system of devices that provides for remote monitoring of security cameras, access control stations, and intrusion detection sensors. The Technology also includes all attendant manuals, installation, acceptance testing, and the qualifications of those providing the services.


The Boeing Company

Approved: August 07, 2013 | Expires: September 30, 2018

The Boeing Company provides Enhanced Security Flight Deck Door Technologies (the “Technology”). The Technology is specialized flight deck doors and other features designed to protect the flight crew and certain flight critical equipment on commercial aircraft. The Technology also includes services such as design, manufacturing, installation, and retrofitting as well as training and maintenance.


L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems, Inc.

Approved: August 05, 2013 | Expires: October 31, 2016

L-3 Communications Security and Detection Systems, Inc. provides Security X-ray Inspection and Screening System (the “Technology”). The Technology is an x-ray inspection and screening system which detects threat objects, including explosives, weapons, narcotics, and other contraband in baggage and packages. The Technology also includes installation, maintenance, customer service and support, and technical documents.


U.S. Equities Asset Management, LLC, and U.S. Equities Realty Partners, LLC

Approved: July 26, 2013 | Expires: August 31, 2018

U.S. Equities Asset Management, LLC, and U.S. Equities Realty Partners, LLC, provide Willis Tower Security and Life Safety Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is a security management program designed to plan for and respond to emergencies, control access to, conduct screening of packages and parcels entering, and provide for the evacuation of Willis Tower. The Technology includes: physical security, security plans and procedures, emergency response; training, and coordination with Federal, State, and local law enforcement.


Contemporary Services Corporation

Approved: July 18, 2013 | Expires: August 31, 2018

Contemporary Services Corporation (“CSC”) provides Event Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is a set of core activities and a set of enhanced, customer-driven, activities including physical security, access control, and crowd management. The Technology also includes CSC’s Quality Assurance procedures that include selection, vetting, and training of employees; periodic internal, external (third-party), and Red Team assessments of CSC’s effectiveness; and an annual review process.


CS-Solutions, Inc.

Approved: July 16, 2013 | Expires: July 31, 2018

CS-Solutions, Inc. provides Platinum CS Protection (the "Technology"). The Technology is a software solution that has the ability to create snapshots of a company’s operating system and applications for the purposes of recovering end-user systems if the system becomes corrupted by malware, worms, virus infections, or other reason. The Technology also includes user manuals.


Trinity Technology Group, Inc.

Approved: July 12, 2013 | Expires: July 31, 2018

Trinity Technology Group, Inc. provides Private Screening Services (the “Technology”). The Technology consists of the provision of trained and skilled personnel to operate screening equipment, conduct pre-board passenger screening, and carry-on and checked luggage and accessible property screening to prevent prohibited items from entering the sterile area of an airport.


Queens Ballpark Company, L.L.C.

Approved: July 11, 2013 | Expires: August 31, 2018

Queens Ballpark Company, LLC, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Sterling Mets, L.P, and other listed Sellers, provide the Citi Field Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, tools, procedures and personnel designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism at Citi Field during Major League Baseball Game Days, Non-Game Days (In-Season), Non-Season Days, and Special Events. The Technology includes 24/7 security coverage and incorporates systems and security practices as well as the selection and maintenance of electronic security measures and the hiring, vetting, training, and management oversight of its employees and contractors.


Brookfield Office Properties, Inc.

Approved: July 09, 2013 | Expires: July 31, 2018

Brookfield Office Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of Brookfield Asset Management, Inc., provides its WFC Security and Emergency Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a set of policies, procedures, and personnel which, when used together, are designed to deter, delay, and mitigate terrorist activity at the World Financial Center located in New York, New York.


Hardwire, LLC

Approved: July 03, 2013 | Expires: July 31, 2018

Hardwire, LLC provides Armor Protective Solutions (the "Technology"). The Technology is a multi-layered, multi-functional suspension and stay cable bridge armor designed to provide protection for critical elements of suspension and stay cable bridges against various terrorist threats, including IED, ballistic, blast, fire, and other potential threats.
