Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Alclear, LLC Approved: April 16, 2020 | Expires: April 30, 2030 Alclear, LLC, provides CLEAR (the "Technology"). The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for use as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s ("TSA") Registered Traveler program or other similar programs. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation and integration operations, training, technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, customer support services, selection criteria for TSA-approved technologies, venders, and commercial-off-the-shelf products, the associated personnel qualification program, and spare parts.
Alclear, LLC, URCLEAR LLC, and NoQue, LLC Approved: December 16, 2015 | Expires: December 31, 2020 Alclear, LLC, URCLEAR LLC, and NoQue, LLC provide CLEAR (the “Technology”). The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for use as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”) Registered Traveler program or other similar programs. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation and integration operations, training, technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, customer support services, selection criteria for TSA-approved technologies, venders, and commercial-off-the-shelf products, the associated personnel qualification program, and spare parts.
Alclear, LLC Approved: June 01, 2012 | Expires: January 31, 2016 Alclear, LLC provides CLEAR. The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for quicker airport passenger screening. The Technology can be modified to meet the customer’s needs and specifications, including those, for example, of customers who use CLEAR as part of TSA’s Registered Traveler program or other similar programs
Alclear, LLC Approved: December 21, 2010 | Expires: January 31, 2016 Alclear, LLC provides CLEAR, which is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system. The Technology is intended to be used to expedite the screening process at airports. The Technology also includes support services necessary to install the Technology.
Alclear, LLC Approved: June 25, 2010 | Expires: June 30, 2010 Alclear, LLC provides Verified Identity Pass ("Verified ID"), which is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system.
