Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Constellis, LLC, and subsidiaries ACADEMI K-9 Services, LLC, and American K-9 Detection Services, LLC, provide Explosives Detection Canine Services. The Technology consists of an explosive detection canine and its single-person explosive detection canine handler, to enable detection of explosives and explosive materials in stationary objects. The Technology includes the hiring and vetting of handlers, team training and certification, canine health and welfare, Technology deployment, and associated policies, procedures and other documentation.


American K-9 Detection Services, LLC

Approved: March 10, 2017 | Expires: March 31, 2020

American K-9 Detection Services, LLC; iK9 Holding Company, LLC d/b/a AMK9 Academy; ITC Security Partners, Inc.; and, ITC Capital Partners, LLC collectively provide Explosive Detection Canine Team Services (the “Technology”). The Technology consists of a canine and a single human handler, for detecting explosives. The Technology includes policies, procedures, and documentation for hiring and vetting of personnel, training of teams, and deployment of the Technology.


American K-9 Detection Services, LLC

Approved: July 29, 2015 | Expires: August 31, 2016

American K-9 Detection Services, LLC, iK9 Holding Company, LLC d/b/a AMK9 Academy, and ITC Security Partners, Inc., which are all wholly owned subsidiaries of ITC Capital Partners, LLC, collectively provide Domestic Explosive Detection Dog Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is designed to enable the detection of explosives and explosive materials in different settings. The Technology consists of the provision of Explosive Detection Dog-Handler Teams (“EDDs”) for domestic deployments to the U.S. Federal Government.
