Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. BAE Systems Electronics and Integrated Solutions: First InterCommTM System Approved: April 06, 2009 | Expires: March 31, 2012 BAE Systems Electronics and Integrated Solutions provides the First InterCommTM System. The Technology is designed to augment the capabilities of the communications equipment of first responders. It enables communications between disparate radios and other communications devices employed by Federal, State, and local public safety agencies. The Technology also includes: installation, integration, training, warranty services, the qualified personnel, software upgrades, and technical manuals.
