Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Becatech Inc. Approved: June 29, 2009 | Expires: July 31, 2014 Becatech Inc. and its parent, Becatech Ltd. (collectively, "Becatech") offer the Watercress System (the "Technology"). The Technology is a protective security surveillance system and service that provides covert monitoring and intruder and attack detection to protect water infrastructure. The Technology is installed to protect water infrastructure, such as water tanks, underground storage reservoirs, and pipelines. The Technology includes customization of each system to meet customer requirements, installation of hardware components, periodic updating of software, commissioning and testing of the system, periodic maintenance checks, and ongoing monitoring of the system (for some clients).
