Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

CNIguard, LLC Approved: December 10, 2012 | Expires: January 31, 2018 CNIguard, LLC provides the CNI2000W and the CNI2000WL Intruder Detection System. The Technology is wired or wireless intruder detection system for protecting access to treated water via hatches typically deployed at water treatment works or service reservoirs. The system can integrate with existing SCADA (Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition) infrastructures and signal alarm conditions independently using SMS text messaging via cellular networks. The Technology also includes the installation of the sensing network.
