Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

The Technology consists of a series of policies, physical and electronic measures, and personnel that collectively provide security at Coors Field. The Technology is deployed 24/7 for Major League Baseball (MLB) games, other sporting events, general entertainment events, political events, and non-event days.

Approved: July 13, 2020 | Expires: July 31, 2025 Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, Ltd., Denver Metropolitan Major League Baseball Stadium District, and Event Services LLC provide the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, Ltd., Security Program for Coors Field. The Technology is a security program, comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel, which is deployed at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado. The Technology applies to all Major Events, including all Major League Baseball events. The Technology also includes 24/7 security measures which are deployed during Routine Operations within and outside the ticketed event window.
