Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Core Engineered Solutions, Inc., provides the ConVault Aboveground Storage Tank. The Technology is an aboveground fuel storage tank used to store petroleum products and comprises an inner steel tank encased in a reinforced monolithic concrete enclosure. The Technology is designed to withstand the impact of a vehicle or ammunition in accordance with the Underwriters Laboratories 2085 Standard and carries the Underwriters Laboratories Listing Mark. Additionally, the Technology is designed to withstand the effects of blast pressures typical of a man-portable improvised explosive device detonated at a standoff distance of 5 feet or a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device detonated at a standoff distance of 20 feet. The Technology includes a warranty; inspection and maintenance performed by the user in accordance with Seller recommendations; and associated technical documents.
