Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

E-Z-EM, Inc. Approved: August 30, 2011 | Expires: September 30, 2016 E-Z-EM, Inc. provides Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion (RSDL). The Technology is a topical lotion used to neutralize and/or remove chemical weapon, blister, or T-2 agents that have come in contact with the skin. The Technology also includes individual sealed applicators impregnated with the lotion and instructions for proper use.
E-Z-EM, Inc.: Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion Approved: September 12, 2006 | Expires: October 31, 2011 E-Z-EM, Inc., provides Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion, a lotion that neutralizes, removes and subsequently renders non-toxic chemical weapon agents, blister agents and T-2 toxins that have come in contact with skin.
