Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Elmridge Protection Products, LLC Approved: September 11, 2019 | Expires: September 30, 2022 Elmridge Protection Products, LLC provides the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood, (the "Technology"). The Technology is an air-purifying respiratory protective smoke escape device used to protect the wearer against the potential inhalation from byproducts of fire, including particulate matter, carbon monoxide, other toxic gases, and the effects of radiant heat. The Technology also includes user manual.
Elmridge Protection Products, LLC Approved: October 17, 2014 | Expires: October 31, 2019 Elmridge Protection Products, LLC provides the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood (the “Technology”). The Technology is a personal safety device used to protect the wearer against the potential inhalation of toxic gases or harmful particulates. The Technology also includes a user manual.
Elmridge Protection Products Approved: June 29, 2009 | Expires: July 31, 2014 Elmridge Protection Products provides the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood (the “Technology”), a personal safety device used to protect the wearer against the potential inhalation of toxic gases or harmful particulates, as might be present in a chemical or biological terrorist attack or under conditions of intense burning. The Technology comes with a copy of the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood User Manual.
