Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

GSS Security Services, Inc.: GSS K-9 Explosive Detection Services Approved: December 27, 2007 | Expires: January 31, 2013 GSS Security Services, Inc. provides the GSS K-9 Explosive Detection Services. The Technology consists of Canine (K-9) Explosion Detection Teams (one trained handler and one trained canine) and K-9 Explosive Detection Training programs for the training of its customers’ K-9 teams. All K-9 teams must pass the training, and certified teams are capable of detecting a number of different explosive materials. The selection, qualification criteria, and training all adhere to the U.S. Police Canine Association (USPCA) guidelines.
