Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Aegis Defense Services, LLC d/b/a GardaWorld Federal Services operates as a Certified Cargo Security Facility – Canine (CCSF-K9) provider in accordance with directives issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for screening and securing cargo that will be transported on passenger and all-cargo aircraft (the "Technology").


Aegis Defense Services LLC

Approved: July 10, 2019 | Expires: July 31, 2024

Aegis Defense Services LLC d/b/a GardaWorld Federal Services provides Screening Partnership Program Services at airports and other locations as the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA") determines are in compliance with standard operating procedures, directives, policies, and updates that the TSA Screening Partnership Program issues and are in compliance with the TSA issued contractual Statement of Work (the "Technology").

Aegis Defense Services LLC, (d/b/a GardaWorld Federal Services), Aegis Defense Services, Ltd, Hestia B.V., GardaWorld Consulting (UK) Limited, and GardaWorld Security Corporation provide Screening Partnership Program Services (“SPP”). The Technology is Screening Partnership Program Services provided under the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”)’s Screening Partnership Program (“SPP”). It consists of trained and certified personnel who conduct passenger, airport employee, and baggage screening in accordance with TSA guidelines and standard operating procedures.
