Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Hamilton Safe Company Approved: December 08, 2016 | Expires: December 31, 2021 Hamilton Safe Co. and Hamilton Products Group, Inc. provide the Hamilton Entrance Control System (the “Technology”). The Technology is a security vestibule system designed to prevent or delay access to a facility by individuals with firearms. The Technology also averts facility ambush by preventing simultaneous entry by multiple persons while allowing steady traffic flow. The Technology combines weapons detection technology using metal detectors and entry/exit man-trap traffic control of personnel incorporating bullet resistive materials.
Hamilton Safe Company and Hamilton Products Group, Inc. Approved: July 21, 2011 | Expires: August 31, 2016 Hamilton Safe Company and Hamilton Products Group, Inc. provide Hamilton Entrance Control System. The Technology is a security vestibule system designed to prevent or delay access to a facility by individuals with firearms. The Technology also includes installation by Hamilton trained and company certified personnel, operator training for facility personnel, maintenance support, and all applicable system documentation and manuals.
