Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Hardwire, LLC provides the Hardwire Emergency Response Shield (the Technology). The Technology is a hand-held ballistic shield intended to protect the vital areas of the carrier’s torso against gunfire and bladed weapons.

Hardwire, LLC provides Armor Protective Solutions. The Technology a passive physical shield installed over vulnerable cable bridge components (cables and their anchorage points) to them from a variety of attack methods (e.g., mechanical, thermal, ballistic, explosive).

Hardwire, LLC provides Armor Protective Solutions (the "Technology"). The Technology is a family of composite materials designed to protect bridge infrastructure. The materials are used to create armor to protect various parts of bridges from a variety of attack methods (e.g., explosives, heat, ballistic).

The Technology is a multi-layered, multi-functional suspension and stay cable bridge armor designed to provide protection for critical elements of suspension and stay cable bridges against various terrorist threats, including IED, ballistic, blast, fire, and other potential threats.
