Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Ilitch Holdings, Inc., et al provide the Security Design for Little Caesars Arena/Detroit Events Center (the "Technology"). The Technology is the design and construction methodology for the Little Caesars Arena/Detroit Events Center (LCA/DEC) located at 2645 Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. The Technology applies exclusively to the LCA/DEC and the 100-foot perimeter around the arena, the parking deck, Buildings A, B, and C, the Via, and the Piazza. It includes the security design development process, supporting policies and procedures, and the implementation, management, and continuous oversight of the Technology by the Applicant’s employees, contractors, and consultants.

Ilitch Holdings, Inc., Olympia Entertainment, Inc., Detroit Tigers, Inc., ODM Parking, LLC, 313 Presents LLC, and ODM Management, LLC together provide the Security Program for Comerica Park. The Technology is a comprehensive integrated security system which is comprised of physical and electronic security measures, tools, and procedures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism at Comerica Park during Game Day, Non-Game Day (In-Season), Non-Season, and Special Events. The Technology includes the selection and maintenance of electronic security measures and the hiring, vetting, training, and management oversight of its employees and contractors.

Ilitch Holdings, Inc., Detroit Red Wings, Inc., Olympia Entertainment Events Center, LLC, Olympia Entertainment, Inc., ODM Management, LLC, Olympia Development of Michigan, LLC, ODM Parking, LLC, Arena Mixed Use, LLC, 313 Presents, LLC, Olympia JV LLC, and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, LLC provides the Security Program for the Little Caesars Arena/Detroit Events Center. The Technology is a security program comprised of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies, procedures, and trained armed and unarmed personnel for the protection of Little Caesars Arena ("LCA")/ Detroit Events Center ("DEC," collectively "LCA/DEC"). LCA/DEC is owned by the Detroit Downtown Development Authority and is exclusively operated by the Seller.
