Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Intralox, LLC Approved: January 13, 2012 | Expires: February 28, 2017 Intralox, LLC, provides Baggage Delivery System (BDS). The Technology consists of conveyor belts and programmable logic controllers which receive input from screening equipment to properly route the baggage to its destination or holding areas. The Technology includes design, installation, maintenance, and site acceptance tests.
Intralox, LLC: Baggage Delivery System Approved: December 18, 2006 | Expires: November 30, 2011 Intralox, LLC, provides the Baggage Delivery System, which utilizes conveyors, software, control terminals, and hardware controls to convey luggage, cargo containers, postal/parcel freight, break bulk air cargo, or other packages through explosive detection systems, metal detectors, or other detection equipment.
