Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

KBRwyle Technology Solutions, LLC and KBR, Inc. provides Physical Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of the design, installation, and maintenance of physical security systems, including: intrusion detection systems, video surveillance systems, facility security barrier systems and gate operators, perimeter security and surveillance systems, wide area mass notification systems (e.g., Giant Voice), and cargo screening systems. The Technology is deployed for Federal Government users. The Technology also includes the selection of physical security system hardware and software, selection and oversight of subcontractors, and all technical manuals developed for use with the Technology.

KBRwyle Technology Solutions, LLC, and KBR, Inc. provide Cyber Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of a suite of consulting services intended to assess and improve a client’s cybersecurity posture and support cyber event analysis and incident management. Designation coverage extends to contracts provided to the Federal Government and in accordance with Federal Government contract specifications. Certification coverage extends to contracts provided to the U.S. Department of Defense (“DoD”) for DoD or other Federal agency customers.
