Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. The Technology is a portable tire deflation system composed of a lattice of metal alloy spikes. It is designed to stop a threatening moving vehicle by puncturing the tires making control more difficult. It comes in five lengths and can be manually deployed to span the width of a roadway. The Technology also includes user training, manufacturing processes and procedures, spare parts, quality assurance/control methods, safety guidelines, and all technical documentation.
