Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Priva Technologies, Inc.: Priva Security System Approved: July 08, 2008 | Expires: July 31, 2011 Priva Technologies, Inc. provides the Priva Security System. The Technology is a biometric-based system designed to secure access to sensitive areas. It includes several components: the ClearedChip, ClearedKey, ClearedBadge, ClearedReader, and ClearedHost. The Technology includes the installation of the stand-alone technology or the integration of the Technology as part of an existing system. User training, system maintenance, warranties, and other relevant documentation are also included.
