Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Public Service Enterprise Group Approved: July 09, 2018 | Expires: July 31, 2023 Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated ("PSEG"), through its subsidiary, Public Service Electric and Gas Company ("PSE&G"), provides PSEG Holistic Security Model (the "Technology"). The Technology is a customized program designed to identify and reduce risks based on comprehensive planning processes and protocols and physical security measures protecting PSE&G critical energy infrastructure and assets at five critical sites within the New Jersey PSE&G Service Area. The Technology consists of the following core components: infrastructure risk-rating tool and vulnerability assessment processes; business interruption management model; industry liaison security model; threat level advisory system; enterprise security plans and plans; security awareness training program; background checks and insider threat mitigation; security command centers; physical security measures and equipment; procurement processes for physical security services and equipment; and physical security exercises and assessments.
