Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. The Technology is a network-centric mass notification and emergency communications system. It is delivered via a combination of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) components, mobile phone applications, and software installed on site. It includes the following components: Rave Alert, a mass notification system; Smart911, a combination database and web application of tools for emergency services; and Rave Panic Button, a safety application that alerts on-site personnel and 9-1-1 about emergencies.

Rave Wireless, Inc. (d/b/a Rave Mobile Safety), provides Rave Mobile Safety Platform of Safety Solutions, including Rave Alert, Smart911, and Rave Panic Button (the “Technology”). The Technology is a suite of mass notification software packages designed to be deployed using the Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") operating model. The Technology is designed to streamline emergency response by providing information to emergency responders on critical infrastructure facilities, the locations of a critical incident, and needs of vulnerable populations. The Technology supports rapid distribution of information and instructions to the public in response to an emergency. The Technology also includes The Technology includes optional installation services, training, and user manuals. All Safety Solutions also include web portals and configuration tools necessary for clients and end-users to establish and maintain the service.
