Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

RaySécur Inc. and RaySecur LLC Approved: February 23, 2018 | Expires: March 31, 2021 Award Description: RaySécur Inc. and RaySecur LLC provide MailSecur, a desktop millimeter wave mailroom security workstation that generates real-time, three-dimensional videos of mail content. Contours of solid objects, and movement of powder and liquids are seen in real time (the "Technology"). The operator can screen mail items by hand in the field of view. The Technology does not generate any ionizing radiation. The Technology also includes training, installation, maintenance, calibration, software updates, and remote support.
