Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

The Technology also includes corrective and preventive maintenance services and operator training. This Designation and Certification.

SAFRAN USA, Inc. and GE Homeland Protection, Inc. (f/k/a GE Invision, Inc.), provide the EntryScan3 and the EntryScan3-e which is a non-intrusive walkthrough portal that rapidly detects explosives concealed on the human body or residue contamination on the body from handling explosives. The Technology also includes training and maintenance services.

The Technology also includes training and maintenance services.
