Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

SafePlans LLC Approved: December 21, 2012 | Expires: January 31, 2018 SafePlans, LLC provides the Emergency Response Information Portal ("ERIP"), a secure web-based system that improves preparedness by integrating critical incident planning, mapping, and training (the “Technology”). The Technology stores the customized National Incident Management System ("NIMS") compliant, all-hazards emergency plans generated by the customer from the templates. Plans can be dynamically generated into PDF format so they may be printed and/or saved on local hard drives.
