Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Approved: May 11, 2022 | Expires: May 31, 2025 Global Elite Group Inc., Global Security Associates LLC, Global Aviation Management Group, Corp., Global Security Consulting Group Inc., Securitas AB, Securitas Transport Aviation Security AB, Securitas Transport Aviation Security USA, Inc. provides Security Officer Services. The Technology is a security services primarily to various airlines and for airport authorities. The Technology also includes general security services, aircraft access control, ramp security, aircraft search, baggage escort/security, catering inspection and security, cargo warehouse and cargo escort/security, cargo screening (including for human occupancy), passenger verification, airport terminal security, employee screening, and escort services.
Diebold, Incorporated Approved: March 17, 2021 | Expires: April 30, 2026 Securitas AB, Securitas Holdings, Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., Securitas Electronic Security, Inc., and Securitas Electronic Government Security, Inc., provide Electronic Security Service (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of design, engineering, installation, service, monitoring and maintenance services for electronic security systems. The Technology also includes manuals, training and support services.
Securitas Security Services USA Approved: September 29, 2020 | Expires: September 30, 2025 Securitas AB; Securitas Holdings, Inc.; Securitas Services, Inc. (D/B/A Securitas Inc.); Securitas Security Services USA, Inc.; Securitas Security Services Of Puerto Rico, Inc.; Securitas Security Services Guam, Inc.; Burns International Security Services Company, LLC; and, Burns International Services Company, LLC provides Security Guard Services. The Technology is a suite of security services that includes: Armed and unarmed security officers; security assessments; access control devices and closed-circuit television systems; screening of individuals and their belongings; emergency medical response; operation of security console equipment; and, dispatch of response personnel to alarms. The Technology also includes internal audit and review; hiring vetting, and training of personnel; and quality control and oversight.
Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. Approved: August 21, 2020 | Expires: September 30, 2025 Securitas AB, Securitas Holdings Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services of Puerto Rico, Inc., Pinkerton's LLC, and Paragon Systems Inc., provide Security Guard Services. The Technology is anti-terrorism functions performed by armed and unarmed security officers deployed in the United States and its territories for the protection of critical infrastructure. These security officers receive baseline and annual refresher training, including advanced anti-terrorism training comprised of: anti-terrorism threat awareness training, weapons of mass destruction ("WMD") training, terrorism method of operations training, and response to terror attacks.
Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. Approved: May 11, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023 Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. ("SCIS"), Pinkerton’s, LLC, Securitas Services, Inc. d/b/a Securitas, Inc., Securitas Holdings, Inc., and Securitas AB, a Swedish corporation (collectively, the "Seller") provides Background Investigation Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is the conduct of investigative fieldwork services for Federal background investigations under contract to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s National Background Investigations Bureau.

Approved: May 08, 2017 | Expires: May 31, 2022 Securitas Holdings, Inc., Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., and Securitas AB provide Securitas Security Assessments and Consulting Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is risk and vulnerability assessments and consulting services to enhance protection of clients’ infrastructure, supply chains, and human resources operations. It is intended for deployment to private and Government facilities including critical infrastructure. The Technology includes crisis management and business continuity services.

The Technology consists of design, engineering, installation, service, monitoring and maintenance services for electronic security systems. The Technology also includes manuals, training and support services.

Certification: Security Guard Services (the “Technology”) is total security solution services based on the specific circumstances and characteristics of each deployment. Some services include: armed and unarmed security professionals, access control, and ambulatory response. The Technology is specific to security guards receiving ongoing anti-terrorism training.
