Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Sonic Works, Inc. provides HarborWatchTM Underwater Security System. The Technology is a sonar based device that makes use of an array of acoustic transceivers. It is designed to act as a security system that provides near real-time-zoned detection, tracking, classification, and alerts of underwater and surface intrusion in a defined volume. The Technology also includes an operator visualization system, installation, periodic maintenance, and user training.
