Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Unisys Corporation: Multi-Threat Risk Analysis and Physical Perimeter Protection System for the Federal Secure Border Initiative Network (“SBInet”) Program

Unisys Corporation provides the Muli-Threat Risk Analysis and Physical Perimeter Protection System for the Federal Secure Border Initiative Network (“SBInet”) program. The Technology is provided specifically to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the P28 section of the U.S.-Mexico border. It is a secure information technology system for data transmission between the central P28 Command, Control, and Communication (C3) center, mobile C3 systems, mobile and stationary towers, and CBP agent vehicles. It consists of design, implementation, integration, installation, and maintenance services for the SBInet Common Operating Picture (COP).
