Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Vertex Company Approved: March 08, 2023 | Expires: February 28, 2027 Vertex Aerospace LLC, provides Security Equipment Integration Services. The Technology is a set of services used for the installation and integration of security equipment applications at airport and transportation facilities for detection of explosives and other prohibited items.
Vertex Aerospace LLC Approved: March 03, 2023 | Expires: August 31, 2027 Vertex Aerospace LLC provides Perimeter Intrusion Detection System. The Technology is a systems-engineering and integration service designed to deploy and support systems that detect, assess, track, and facilitate response to perimeter intrusions at airports. The Technology also includes refreshment assessments and recommendations, program management, system design, subcontractor selection, system integration, system maintenance plans, testing services, training, warranty and maintenance services, and technical manuals.
