Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. The Technology is a scalable, cloud-based platform that aggregates, maps, stores, and shares real-time visual information from fixed security cameras and from smartphones. The Technology enables users to visually record, map, and share safety reports from their smartphones or tablets with authorized recipients to improve situational awareness and communications for first responders and security personnel.

Vizsafe, Inc. provides Vizsafe (the “Technology”). The Technology is a scalable, cloud-based platform that aggregates, maps, stores, and shares real-time visual information from fixed security cameras and smartphone cameras. The end-user is able to share a geolocated video or photograph and add a brief description of the incident. The Technology is a web application hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) that is used to increase situational awareness and improve response time.
