Certifications

For Certification, a technology must have demonstrated confidence of continued effectiveness: i.e., it will perform as intended, conform to the seller’s specifications, and is safe for use as intended. In addition to the benefits provided under Designation, Certification allows Sellers of antiterrorism technologies to assert the Government Contractor Defense that immunizes Sellers from liability for claims arising from acts of terrorism. Technologies that receive Certification will be also placed on an Approved Products List for Homeland Security. Designation is a prerequisite for Certification.

Kenton County Airport Board provides Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport ("CVG") Airport Security Management Plan (the "Technology"). The Technology is the development and implementation of its Transportation Security Administration ("TSA")–approved Airport Security Management Plan, which includes physical and electronic security measures, tools, and procedures. The Technology also includes the operations and training of airport police, security, and rescue and firefighting personnel; operations of the airport Emergency Operations Center; selection and integration of physical and technical security systems and procedures; airport security plans and planning documentation; and, the maintenance of physical and technical security measures.

The Technology is a suite of safety and security services designed, in part, to deter, detect, disrupt, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism. The services are deployed at: arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, race tracks, etc., and outdoor festivals, concerts, and golf tournaments. The Technology is a set of core activities invariable across all deployments, and a set of enhanced, customer-driven activities not necessarily suitable at all venues or event types.

American Petroleum Institute

The American Petroleum Institute ("API) provides the Security Risk Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries in its publication, ANSI/API Standard 780-2003, Security Risk Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries. The Technology assists the petroleum and petrochemical industries in understanding and conducting security risk assessments by describing a recommended approach for assessing security risk applicable to the types of facilities operated by the industries and the security issues the industries face. The methodology described in the Standard is widely applicable to a full spectrum of security issues including terrorist attacks on assets containing hazardous materials such as chemical, refining, and petrochemical manufacturing operations, pipelines, and transportation operations including truck, marine, and rail.

National Basketball Association

The National Basketball Association ("NBA" provides the NBA Arena Security Standards, NBA Security Audits, and NBA Security Training and Awareness Programs (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive set of mandatory security standards for team and arena management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at venues where NBA games are played, in addition to other general security risks. The Technology is implemented through the NBA Security Audits and NBA Security Training and Awareness Programs, and includes the hiring, vetting, qualifications, and training of NBA security personnel in connection with the three components of the Technology.

Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc.

Securitas AB, Securitas Holdings Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services of Puerto Rico, Inc., Pinkerton's LLC, and Paragon Systems Inc., provide Security Guard Services. The Technology is anti-terrorism functions performed by armed and unarmed security officers deployed in the United States and its territories for the protection of critical infrastructure. These security officers receive baseline and annual refresher training, including advanced anti-terrorism training comprised of: anti-terrorism threat awareness training, weapons of mass destruction ("WMD") training, terrorism method of operations training, and response to terror attacks.

Meridian Rapid Defense Group LLC provides Archer 1200 Anti-Terrorist Vehicle Barrier. The Technology is a portable barrier designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle intrusion and vehicle-based attacks. The Technology also includes training.

Alclear, LLC

Alclear, LLC, provides CLEAR (the "Technology"). The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for use as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s ("TSA") Registered Traveler program or other similar programs. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation and integration operations, training, technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, customer support services, selection criteria for TSA-approved technologies, venders, and commercial-off-the-shelf products, the associated personnel qualification program, and spare parts.

Covenant Aviation Security

Approved: March 25, 2020 | Expires: April 30, 2025

Covenant Aviation Security, LLC (CAS) provides its Security Services, Guard Services, and Physical Security Services for Aviation Facilities. The Technology consists of the provision of unarmed security officers who perform access control services, screening of persons, vehicle screening, foot and vehicle patrols, and alarm monitoring at airports. The Technology is subject to applicable State and local laws for the provision of security services and, depending upon the regulatory status of the client to whom the services are provided, to U.S. Government regulations for security operations at airports, including applicable sections of 49 CFR, Chapter 12, Subchapter C for Civil Aviation Security.
