Developmental Testing & Evaluation (DT&E) Designations

Developmental Testing & Evaluation (DT&E) Designation provides protection during further testing or trial deployment of a technology to collect additional efficacy data necessary for a full Designation. DT&E Designation provides liability protections similar to a full Designation but with certain limitations and constraints and has a limited term for testing or evaluating the technology (presumptively not longer than 36 months). SAFETY Act liability protections associated with DT&E Designations will apply only to acts that occur during the period set forth in the particular DT&E Designation.

The Technology is based on guidelines derived from State and local fire prevention codes and government agency recommendations, in compliance with New York Local Law 26, and is intended exclusively for One Five One (151) West 42nd Street, New York, New York 10036.


Evolv Technology

Evolv Technology provides Evolv Express (the "Technology"). The Technology is a walk-through metal detector to detect concealed metallic materials and assist operators in detecting and locating prohibited items that could be used as a weapon. The Technology screens individuals carrying hand-carried bags and smaller personal items traversing the detector at walking pace. The Technology also includes support services, documentation, and maintenance, with options for systems integration.

Drone Go Home, LLC d/b/a AeroDefense

Drone Go Home, LLC, d/b/a AeroDefense, provides AirWarden Drone Defense System. The Technology is a passive radio frequency-based sensor and alert system, designed to detect and locate unmanned aerial systems ("UAS"), both the unmanned aerial vehicle and the controller (pilot). The Technology is used to perform counter-UAS ("CUAS") functions through detection, identification, and tracking of commonly available commercial UAS that may enter protected airspace. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation, and user guides. The Technology does not include a capability to defeat or interfere with the flight of UAS, or perform signal analysis functions which would require legal authorization.
