Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.





Company/Technology

AtHoc, Inc.

Approved: February 15, 2018 | Expires: March 31, 2023

AtHoc, Inc., provides AtHoc Networked Crisis Communications Suite (the "Technology"). The Technology is a modular network-centric system that automates the end-to-end bi-directional crisis communication process, delivering mass-notification (AtHoc Alert); personnel accountability (AtHoc Account); situational field reporting, duress activation, and situational awareness (AtHoc Collect); customizable interorganizational communication networks (AtHoc Connect); and a mobile application (AtHoc Mobile Application). The Technology also includes optional installation services and optional software hosting services through a third-party data center.


National Fire Protection Association, Inc.

Approved: February 08, 2018 | Expires: February 28, 2023

The National Fire Protection Association, Inc. ("NFPA") is an American National Standards Institute ("ANSI") Accredited Standards Development Organization, that has developed NFPA/American National Standards using the NFPA Codes and Standards Development Process, which meets the requirements of due process and criteria for approval and withdrawal of American National Standards (the "Technology"). The Technology is a set of codes and standards that address anti-terrorism technologies in the areas of personal protective garments, equipment, professional qualifications for first responders, and for preparedness planning for infrastructure and enterprise protection, fire protection systems, and for critical electrical and building systems.


ASIS International

Approved: February 06, 2018 | Expires: February 28, 2023

ASIS International, Inc., provides its Professional Certification Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a certification and re-certification program for security professionals based on examination. ASIS grants three types of certification: Certified Protection Professional (CPP); Professional Certified Investigator (PCI); and, Physical Security Professional (PSP). The Technology also the provision of persons involved in developing and providing these certifications.


SMG

Approved: January 29, 2018 | Expires: February 29, 2020

The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, services, controls, systems and structural, physical, and technological security measures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism at U.S. Bank Stadium, including the stadium and surrounding areas (collectively, the "Technology").


Tailored Solutions & Consulting

Approved: January 22, 2018 | Expires: February 28, 2023

Tailored Solutions and Consulting, Inc. d/b/a TSC Advantage, provides Threat Vector Manager™ (the "Technology"). The Technology is a holistic risk assessment methodology used for examining the security of information systems. The deliverable produced through the execution of the Technology is called the Enterprise Security Assessment ("ESA"). The ESA examines an organization’s security maturity, resiliency, effectiveness in security resource allocation, and security preparedness across six domains each addressing a distinct threat vector.


Hope Pharmaceuticals

Approved: January 19, 2018 | Expires: February 28, 2023

Hope Medical Enterprises, Inc. (d/b/a Hope Pharmaceuticals) provides Sodium Nitrite Injection, Sodium Thiosulfate Injection, and Nithiodote™ (the "Technology"). The Technology is a set of vials intended for sequential intravenous use to treat acute poisoning resulting from exposure to cyanide. This Designation will expire on February 28, 2023.


Avigilon

Approved: January 09, 2018 | Expires: January 31, 2021

Avigilon Corporation provides Avigilon Access Control Manager ("ACM")™ Software ("ACM™ Software") (the "Technology"). The Technology is software used to manage non-proprietary, third-party provided door control hardware, along with other door control systems, such as mechanical locks, credential readers, and door monitoring sensors, for the purpose of managing and securing physical ingress and egress of a physical facility or campus. The Technology includes the Installation Manual and the Operator’s Manual the Applicant provides to the customer.


Smiths Detection, Inc.

Approved: December 27, 2017 | Expires: January 31, 2023

Smiths Detection Inc. provides HI-SCAN Small CCX-RAY (the "Technology"). The Technology is a line of X-ray-based threat detector systems. These systems are used to screen for potential threats and other contraband in cargo, luggage, or parcels at airports and other transportation facilities, government buildings and facilities, courthouses, nuclear power plants, military installations, and other secure facilities. The Technology also includes associated software; installation; life cycle support (includes post-sales support such as troubleshooting, maintenance and repair; ongoing tech support; ongoing training; service bulletins; documentation updates, etc.); training; quality control / quality assurance / warrantee program; manuals, instructions, bulletins and other communications, and other documentation (including technical communications, support manuals, training manuals, maintenance manuals, schedules, procedures; including any and all forms of printed, electronic, or other media).


Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC

Approved: December 15, 2017 | Expires: January 31, 2019

Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC, provides Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that will host National Football League, Major League Soccer, and other major sporting and entertainment events.


Raytheon Foreground Security

Approved: December 15, 2017 | Expires: December 31, 2022

Raytheon Foreground Security and its parent, Raytheon Company provide Virtual Security Operations (the "Technology"). The Technology is hunting-based, managed security service leveraging automated threat intelligence and expert security analysts to provide cyber threat detection capability. The Technology also includes training for end-users.
