Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Approved: January 13, 2017 | Expires: January 31, 2022

iControl, Incorporated provides the Marine Asset Tag Tracking System (“MATTS” or the “Technology”). The Technology is a family of devices used for tracking and monitoring remote mobile assets. The family consists of the: iTAG, mLOCK, iCHIME, and miKEY.


Leidos Innovations Corporation

Approved: January 13, 2017 | Expires: April 30, 2017

Leidos Innovations Corporation provides the Security System Engineering Process (“SSEP” or the “Technology”). The Technology is a suite of services to design, develop, install, and support a “turn-key” integrated security system that can assist Federal Government customers to address identified vulnerabilities and to protect critical infrastructure. The Technology also includes system acquisition, installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, personnel training, and periodic reviews.


Queens Ballpark Company, L.L.C.

Approved: January 13, 2017 | Expires: August 31, 2018

Queens Ballpark Company, L.L.C., a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of Sterling Mets, L.P, and other listed Sellers, provide the Citi Field Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, tools, procedures and personnel designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism at Citi Field during Major League Baseball Game Days, Non-Game Days (In-Season), Non-Season Days, and Special Events. The Technology includes 24/7 security coverage and incorporates systems and security practices as well as the selection and maintenance of electronic security measures and the hiring, vetting, training, and management oversight of its employees and contractors.


Contemporary Services Corporation

Approved: December 22, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2022

Contemporary Services Corporation provides Screening Partnership Program Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is provided under the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”)’s Screening Partnership Program (“SPP”). It consists of trained and certified personnel who conduct passenger, airport employee, and baggage screening in accordance with TSA guidelines and standard operating procedures.


Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc.

Approved: December 22, 2016 | Expires: January 22, 2022

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc., provides Stalwart Anti-Ram Passive Cable Barrier (the “Technology”). The Technology is a passive vehicle barrier intended to create safe stand-off distance around protected areas or facilities. The Technology also includes guidance with atypical site conditions; guidance with the selection of a specific cable barrier system variant that meets the customer’s penetration resistance and stand-off distance requirements; and recommendations of experienced installers.


G4S Secure Integration LLC

Approved: December 22, 2016 | Expires: January 22, 2022

G4S Secure Integration LLC provides Physical/Electronic Security Solutions, which combines customized design, engineering, construction, and maintenance services of electronic and physical security measures for the anti-terrorism protection of public and commercial infrastructure (which includes navigable locks, dams, power plants, chemical plants, ammunition storage facilities, chemical demilitarization facilities, military bases, airports, command-and-control system centers, and electrical substations) (the “Technology”). The Technology may include installation of closed-circuit television (“CCTV”), access control, physical security methods, intrusion detection systems, communication and monitoring systems, and central alarm monitoring of installed systems.


Rave Wireless, Inc., d/b/a Rave Mobile Safety

Approved: December 15, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2022

Rave Wireless, Inc. (d/b/a Rave Mobile Safety), provides Rave Mobile Safety Platform of Safety Solutions, including Rave Alert, Smart911, and Rave Panic Button (the “Technology”). The Technology is a suite of mass notification software packages designed to be deployed using the Software-as-a-Service ("SaaS") operating model. The Technology is designed to streamline emergency response by providing information to emergency responders on critical infrastructure facilities, the locations of a critical incident, and needs of vulnerable populations. The Technology supports rapid distribution of information and instructions to the public in response to an emergency. The Technology also includes The Technology includes optional installation services, training, and user manuals. All Safety Solutions also include web portals and configuration tools necessary for clients and end-users to establish and maintain the service.


Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc.

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc., provides Impasse & Impasse II High Security Palisade Fence (the “Technology”). The Technology is high security fencing intended to deter, delay, or prevent intruders from gaining access to an asset or from launching attacks from the area immediately outside a facility’s perimeter. The Technology also includes Technology-related accessories, warranty, guidelines for maintaining the Technology, and recommendations for qualified installers.


SAFRAN USA, Inc., Morpho Detection, Inc., and Morpho Detection International, LLC

SAFRAN USA, Inc., Morpho Detection, Inc., and Morpho Detection International, LLC provide Integrated Logistics Support (“ILS”) Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an ILS program to sustain Government-certified Explosives Detection Systems (“EDS”), Multiplexing Equipment (“MUX”), and associated Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) as deployed and operated by the Transportation Security Administration (“TSA”).


Aegis Defense Services LLC

Aegis Defense Services LLC, (d/b/a GardaWorld Federal Services), Aegis Defense Services, Ltd, Hestia B.V., GardaWorld Consulting (UK) Limited, and GardaWorld Security Corporation provide Screening Partnership Program Services (“SPP”).
