Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc.

Approved: June 06, 2018 | Expires: June 30, 2023

Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc., provides Arrowhead Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas.


Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc.

Approved: June 04, 2018 | Expires: June 30, 2023

Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. provides Securing AEG Fans and Employees (SAFE) Best Practices Guidelines for Arena, Stadium, Theatre, and Club Security (the "Technology"). The Technology is a set of best practices for establishing security at AEG owned or managed sites ("AEG Facilities"). The best practices also address the hiring, vetting, and training of personnel used to provide security services, as well as steps to evaluate their effectiveness. The Technology does not include implementation of AEG Best Practices by individual venues.


Bloomberg

Approved: June 01, 2018 | Expires: June 30, 2021

Bloomberg, L.P. provides Bloomberg Corporate Headquarters Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures and structural, physical, and technological security measures within the interior perimeter of the facility designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism at Bloomberg corporate headquarters located at 731 Lexington Avenue, New York City, New York 10022, which includes the perimeter areas, lobby areas, loading dock, elevators, staircases, and office spaces under control of the Applicant’s security forces and program. The Technology applies to the inner perimeter of 731 Lexington Avenue, New York, New York, from the building’s ground-floor lobby turnstiles through the inner-facility’s areas under the Applicant’s control.


Cakeboxx Technologies

Approved: May 25, 2018 | Expires: June 30, 2023

CakeBoxx Technologies, LLC and Surge Logistics LLC provide CakeBoxx High Security Containers, which are high security, two-piece shipping containers consisting of a deck and a lid that has no doors (the "Technology"). The deck, TrusDek™, is engineered to bear heavy loads. The deck is secured to the lid via the Vertical Locking System™. The Technology is available in default and custom sizes. It also includes technical documentation, user manuals, and a warranty.


Hardwire, LLC

Approved: May 24, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

Hardwire, LLC provides Armor Protective Solutions (the "Technology"). The Technology is a family of composite materials designed to protect bridge infrastructure. The materials are used to create armor to protect various parts of bridges from a variety of attack methods (e.g., explosives, heat, ballistic).


Trinity Technology Group, Inc.

Approved: May 24, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

Trinity Technology Group, Inc. provides Screening Partnership Program Services (the "Technology"). The Technology consists or trained and skilled personnel to operate screening equipment, conduct pre-board passenger screening, and screening of carry-on and checked luggage and accessible property to prevent prohibited items from entering the sterile area of an airport.


Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc.

Approved: May 11, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc. ("SCIS"), Pinkerton’s, LLC, Securitas Services, Inc. d/b/a Securitas, Inc., Securitas Holdings, Inc., and Securitas AB, a Swedish corporation (collectively, the "Seller") provides Background Investigation Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is the conduct of investigative fieldwork services for Federal background investigations under contract to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s National Background Investigations Bureau.


Chicago Park District/SMG

Approved: May 03, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

SMG and the Chicago Park District, provide the Soldier Field Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel, for the Soldier Field Footprint, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, areas housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking and parkland areas. It is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism, and is implemented and maintained by proprietary and contract personnel under the supervision of the Applicant to provide comprehensive security coverage during public, ticketed events using the National Football League ("NFL") Best Practices for Stadium Security and during non-event days.


The Boeing Company

Approved: May 02, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

The Boeing Company provides Enhanced Security Flight Deck Door Technologies (the "Technology"). The Technology is specialized flight deck doors and other features designed to protect the flight crew and certain flight critical equipment on commercial aircraft. The Technology also includes services such as design, manufacturing, installation, and retrofitting as well as training and maintenance.


The Boeing Company

Approved: May 02, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

The Boeing Company and its subsidiaries, including Liquid Robotics, Inc. provide the Wave Glider (the "Technology"). The Technology is a wave and solar powered autonomous marine surface vehicle designed to serve as a water-based sensor or communications platform. The Technology also includes support services, software and communication support, storage and transport of components and equipment, all related documentation, and spare parts.
