Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Ilitch Holdings, Inc., Detroit Red Wings, Inc., Olympia Entertainment Events Center, LLC, Olympia Entertainment, Inc., ODM Management, LLC, Olympia Development of Michigan, LLC, ODM Parking, LLC, Arena Mixed Use, LLC, 313 Presents, LLC, Olympia JV LLC, and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, LLC provides the Security Program for the Little Caesars Arena/Detroit Events Center. The Technology is a security program comprised of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies, procedures, and trained armed and unarmed personnel for the protection of Little Caesars Arena ("LCA")/ Detroit Events Center ("DEC," collectively "LCA/DEC"). LCA/DEC is owned by the Detroit Downtown Development Authority and is exclusively operated by the Seller.


Gibraltar

Approved: September 13, 2019 | Expires: September 30, 2024

Gibraltar Material Distribution, LP, a Texas Limited Partnership, provides the Anti-Vehicle Barriers, a family of barriers designed to prevent vehicle-based attacks or the intrusion of vehicles into secured areas (the "Technology"). The barriers all meet the ASTM International standard ASTM F2656-07 Standard Test Method for Vehicle Crash Testing of Perimeter Barriers.


Boston Properties Limited Partnership

Approved: September 13, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

Boston Properties Limited Partnership provides the Salesforce Tower Protective Design located at 415 Mission Street in San Francisco, California (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of a risk assessment process and the formation of a security design working group to incorporate security-related protective elements into the design and engineering of the newly constructed Salesforce Tower.


Elmridge Protection Products, LLC

Approved: September 11, 2019 | Expires: September 30, 2022

Elmridge Protection Products, LLC provides the iEvac® Fire Escape Hood, (the "Technology"). The Technology is an air-purifying respiratory protective smoke escape device used to protect the wearer against the potential inhalation from byproducts of fire, including particulate matter, carbon monoxide, other toxic gases, and the effects of radiant heat. The Technology also includes user manual.


Simon Property Group

Approved: August 26, 2019 | Expires: September 30, 2024

Simon Property Group, Inc., implements the Simon Property Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of security policies and procedures and internal resources created to assist in defending against, deterring, responding to, and mitigating the effects of Acts of Terrorism at Simon properties in the United States.


Drone Go Home, LLC d/b/a AeroDefense

Approved: August 19, 2019 | Expires: September 30, 2022

Drone Go Home, LLC, d/b/a AeroDefense, provides AirWarden Drone Defense System. The Technology is a passive radio frequency-based sensor and alert system, designed to detect and locate unmanned aerial systems ("UAS"), both the unmanned aerial vehicle and the controller (pilot). The Technology is used to perform counter-UAS ("CUAS") functions through detection, identification, and tracking of commonly available commercial UAS that may enter protected airspace. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation, and user guides. The Technology does not include a capability to defeat or interfere with the flight of UAS, or perform signal analysis functions which would require legal authorization.


Global K9 Protection Group

Approved: August 15, 2019 | Expires: August 31, 2024

Global K9 Protection Group, LLC provides Certified Cargo Security Facility-Canine ("CCSF-K9") services. The Technology operates under the Certified Cargo Screening Program – Canine ("CCSP-K9") and is a TSA initiative to provide TSA-Regulated Entities the option to screen air cargo for unauthorized explosives, incendiaries, IEDs, or other destructive substances through the use of Certified Third-Party Canine-Cargo ("Certified 3PK9-C") teams.


Midnite Express

Approved: July 31, 2019 | Expires: July 31, 2024

Midnite Air Corp., a California corporation, d/b/a Midnite Express, provide a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (the "Technology"). Certified Cargo Screening Facilities are secure facilities established in accordance with directives that the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA") issued for the screening and securing of cargo which will be transported on passenger aircraft.


Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc.

Approved: July 31, 2019 | Expires: August 31, 2024

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA Inc. provides Active and Passive Vehicle Barriers (the "Technology"). The Technology is a family of barriers designed to restrict unauthorized vehicle intrusions or attacks at a perimeter. The Technology also includes operator and maintenance manuals.


Cargo Screening K9 Alliance, LLC

Approved: July 31, 2019 | Expires: July 31, 2024

Cargo Screening K9 Alliance, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operates as a Certified Cargo Security Facility-Canine ("CCSF-K9") provider in accordance with directives issued by the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA") for the screening and securing of cargo which will be transported on passenger and all-cargo aircraft (the "Technology").
