Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.





Company/Technology

Buffalo Bills, LLC

Approved: September 20, 2018 | Expires: October 31, 2023

Buffalo Bills, LLC, Erie County Stadium Corporation, and Erie County provide New Era Field Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas..


The Southern Company

Approved: September 19, 2018 | Expires: October 31, 2023

The Southern Company and its named subsidiaries provide the Cybersecurity Risk Management Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is an enterprise-wide cyber risk mitigation program that advances Company cybersecurity goals in electricity generation, transmission, and distribution, gas services, business corporate services, and other activities. Administered at the board, executive, and management levels, the Technology manages cybersecurity risk through governance, strategic direction, network security and data protection, business assurance, incident response, training, and policies and guidance.


Contemporary Services Corporation ("CSC")

Approved: September 17, 2018 | Expires: September 30, 2023

Contemporary Services Corporation ("CSC") provides Event Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is a suite of safety and security services designed, in part, to deter, detect, disrupt, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism. The services are deployed at: arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, race tracks, etc., and outdoor festivals, concerts, and golf tournaments. The Technology is a set of core activities invariable across all deployments, and a set of enhanced, customer-driven activities not necessarily suitable at all venues or event types.


Ident Solutions

Approved: September 12, 2018 | Expires: October 31, 2021

Ident Solutions, LLC provides Ident Solutions (the "Technology"). The Technology is a software-as-a-service that enables Critical Infrastructure Facilities, partnering with local Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), to screen those seeking entry to the facility against information contained in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Criminal Justice Information Services National Crime Information Center databases. The Technology facilitates this information sharing in an FBI-approved way via local LEAs.


MorphoTrust USA Inc.

Approved: September 10, 2018 | Expires: January 31, 2021

IDEMIA Identity & Security USA LLC, provides Universal Enrollment Services ("UES") (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of hardware, software, and services necessary to provide and maintain enrollment services and centers, including such services as gathering biographic information, capturing biometric data, and issuing credentials.


MorphoTrust USA Inc.

Approved: September 10, 2018 | Expires: October 31, 2019

IDEMIA Identity & Security USA LLC, provides Document Authentication (the "Technology"). The Technology is a suite of products that, taken together, allow for the acquisition of information contained in personal identity documents, and for comparison of the acquired information against relevant document databases.


New Meadowlands Stadium Company LLC

Approved: September 06, 2018 | Expires: September 30, 2023

New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC, a Delaware limited liability corporation, provides the MetLife Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, policies and procedures, and personnel, designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism for use exclusively at Met Life Stadium, inclusive of the Stadium and parking lots, during National Football League ("NFL") Game Days, Non-Game Days, and Special Events.


Verint Systems Inc.

Approved: September 06, 2018 | Expires: September 30, 2023

Verint Systems Inc. provides Verint Enterprise-Class Video Management Platform (the "Technology"). The Technology is an IP Video Management Software that simplifies management of large volumes of video and geographically dispersed video surveillance operations. It can simultaneously record video, display incoming live video, play back recorded video, obtain audio, use motion detection, and transfer video and alarm data to long-term storage devices. The Technology includes training materials, user manuals, and the use of third-party system integrators to perform installation and support services.


Messinger Mortuary

Approved: August 23, 2018 | Expires: August 31, 2023

Messinger Mortuary & Chapel, Inc., d/b/a Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Inc., and its three subsidiaries Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary, Inc., Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, Inc., and Messinger Payson Funeral Home, Inc. provide Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (the "Technology"). The Technology is designed to aid in meeting the congressional mandate that 100 percent of cargo placed on passenger airplanes be screened. The Technology includes, and provides, screeners and programmatic personnel for the screening of cargo per Transportation Security Administration ("TSA")’s Certified Cargo Screening Program at TSA-approved Certified Cargo Screening Facilities.


Delta Scientific Corporation

Approved: August 22, 2018 | Expires: September 23, 2023

Delta Scientific Corporation provides Vehicle Barriers and bollards designed to act as obstacles that prevent vehicles from being used to attack buildings, facilities, and infrastructure (the "Technology"). All SAFETY Act-protected models of the Technology are constructed from steel and have been tested using American Society for Testing and Materials test standards.
