Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Approved: January 15, 2016 | Expires: February 28, 2021

Apollo Video Technology, LLC provides RoadRunner and RoadRunner HD OnBoard Video Surveillance; ViM (Vehicle Information Management) Software (the “Technology”). The Technology is a mobile video and audio recording system. Components include a digital video recorder or high definition recorder, storage media, interior and exterior cameras, wireless components and accessories. The system is designed and manufactured specifically for mobile applications, where vibration, shock, and power fluctuations are common.


Mission Manager Inc.

Approved: January 11, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2019

Mission Manager Inc. provides Mission Manager (the “Technology”). The Technology is a web-based incident management software application designed to improve first responders’ situational awareness. It can be used for daily management and during incident response to develop a Common Operating Picture. The Technology also includes technical support, training, software updates, documentation, and online user manuals.


Air Express International USA, Inc., d/b/a DHL Global Forwarding

Approved: January 11, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2021

Air Express International USA, Inc., d/b/a DHL Global Forwarding; DHL Express (USA), Inc.; Danzas Corporation; Radix Group International, Inc.; Exel Global Logistics Inc.; together with their parent entity DPWN Holdings (USA), Inc. provide Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (the “Technology”). The Technology is designed to aid in meeting the congressional mandate that 100 percent of cargo placed on passenger airplanes be screened. The Technology includes, and provides, screeners and programmatic personnel for the screening of cargo in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration (“TSA”)’s Certified Cargo Screening Program at TSA-approved Certified Cargo Screening Facilities.


MorphoTrust USA, LLC

Approved: January 07, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2021

MorphoTrust USA, LLC provides Automated Biometric Identification System® (“ABIS®” or the “Technology”). The Technology is an automated system for identifying, recording, verifying, and recognizing biometric information, including fingerprint, palm print, iris, and facial data. The Technology also includes design and integration, installation, training, technical documentation, maintenance, and associated support services.


Iveda Solutions, Inc.

Approved: January 07, 2016 | Expires: October 31, 2019

Iveda Solutions, Inc. provides Real-Time IP Video Hosting and Real-Time Remote Surveillance (the “Technology”). The Technology is a set of services designed to secure a site through the monitoring of a security system installed by a third-party partner of the Seller. The services include the Datacenter, Centralized Video Hosting, and Remote Monitoring.


Southwest Synergistic Solutions, LLC

Approved: January 07, 2016 | Expires: February 28, 2021

Southwest Synergistic Solutions, LLC provides the Emergency/Triage Light (the “Technology”). The Technology is a battery-operated light with several different settings which are used to represent personnel, equipment, and more. The Technology is used by military personnel and first responders for a variety of purposes, including nighttime personnel identification, multi-casualty incident initial field triage, setting up landing zones, marking equipment, and marking cleared rooms and marking hazards.


Priority 5 Holdings, Inc.

Approved: December 18, 2015 | Expires: January 31, 2021

Priority 5 Holdings, Inc. provides Touch Assisted Command and Control System (“TACCS™” or the “Technology”). The Technology is a software suite that aggregates information from disparate data sources, including static data from databases and in geographic information system layers, the output of various software programs, and the results of one or more simulation engines. The aggregated information is displayed as layers over imagery independently obtained by the end-user. The Technology also includes customization and installation services and support per the maintenance agreement.


Alclear, LLC, URCLEAR LLC, and NoQue, LLC

Approved: December 16, 2015 | Expires: December 31, 2020

Alclear, LLC, URCLEAR LLC, and NoQue, LLC provide CLEAR (the “Technology”). The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for use as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”) Registered Traveler program or other similar programs. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation and integration operations, training, technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, customer support services, selection criteria for TSA-approved technologies, venders, and commercial-off-the-shelf products, the associated personnel qualification program, and spare parts.


MorphoTrust USA, LLC

Approved: December 16, 2015 | Expires: January 31, 2021

MorphoTrust USA, LLC provides Universal Enrollment Services (the “Technology”). The Technology consists of hardware, software, and services necessary to provide and maintain enrollment centers, including gathering biographic information, capturing biometric data, and issuing credentials.


American Water Work Association (“AWWA”)

Approved: December 16, 2015 | Expires: December 31, 2020

The American Water Work Association (“AWWA”) provides its Standards Development Process (the “Technology”). The Technology is a process by a Standards Development Organization (accredited by the American National Standards Institute) of developing standards which set forth the minimum requirements of products and processes used in water supply and treatment to help provide safe drinking water and sanitation of a water supply. The individual standards and any implementation are not included.
